Life

The Prophet ﷺ said that he entered the Garden and heard footsteps, and was told it was al-Ghumaysa' bint Milhan, the mother of Anas ibn Malik (Muslim 2456).

Al-Dhahabi tells that she believed while her husband Malik was away, taught her young son Anas to say the testimony, and later married Abu Talhah. She went out with the Prophet ﷺ at Uhud, and at Hunayn carried a dagger to defend herself.
