Quran

What it means

The two groups are like the blind and the deaf on one side, and the seeing and the hearing on the other: are they alike (11:24)?

As-Sa'di explains that the blind and deaf are the wretched and the seeing and hearing are the blessed, and the difference between them is beyond description. The question calls the listener to remember the deeds that benefit him and do them, and the deeds that harm him and leave them.

QuranHud (Hud)Quran 11:24

The example of the two parties is like the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Then, will you not remember?

24. The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal when compared? Will you not then take heed?
